As you might have noticed the server did not stay up for every long after the downtime.
Long story short:
* CPU fan broke and the server overheated every 30 min
* Had it sent back and replaced the fan, added some more just in case
* The server got stuck in post office, because I sent it as a private package instead of a cooperate package when sending it
* Server hall receives the server but it does not boot, something is broke again :(
* I failed for 2-3 weeks to book a appointment with the tech to fix the server
* Give up and setup the site on me home file server instead, using dyndns
And thats where we are at right now. I still have know idea where the original server is, when it gets back to me and I see whats wrong with it and I'll switch the site over to it, but still at my home with dyndns, I'm tired of server halls and I have better fiber connection anyway.
(Why did I not switch to this server and dyndns after the first week? I have no idea) |
